Artist Mr. Ramesh Juikar, Shahabaj Chaukicha pada Alibaug, Raigad and Mr. Nilesh Patil. Dhawar, Alibaug Raigad completed their professional education in painting from Mumbai and hence working in the same field in their native village. They both love the beauty of Konkan as they are born and brought up in the Konkan region, they could not resist the temptation to draw the same. This is how it became their passion. Earlier, these artists have exhibited their paintings in Mumbai, Pune and other places. Also the paintings have been sold in India and abroad.
Now at Jehangir Art Gallery ‘Hirji’ 1st Floor, Kalaghoda, Mumbai, the exhibition will be open from April 8 to April 14, 2024 and Art lovers will get to see the Art of Konkan temples, typical konkani houses, agriculture, fishing boats, beaches, coconut groves, etc. The nature, culture, folk life and traditional occupations of Konkan will be seen through the canvas and Papers. Paintings are done in acrylic, oil, Soft Pastels and water colour medium. This Art Exhibition will be from 11 am to 7 pm at Jehangir Art Gallery ‘Hirji’ , 1st Floor, Kalaghoda, Mumbai. Do visit it !
